We want each meal at the SAMAR to be synonymous with discovery, pleasure and surprise.  With this in mind, we practise the concept of ephemeral dining whereby each of your meals is served in a different place.  At the same time,  the high quality and inventiveness of our cuisine will both surprise and delight you while tantalising your tastebuds.  The possibilities are endless, enabling our guests to be able to choose when, where and how they wish to eat: early or late, business lunches or dinners, romantic tête-à-têtes, simple or sophisticated dining, meals in our cool dining areas or on your private terrace, anything is possible...
 
Breakfast, with its assortment of freshly baked bread and croissants and home-made jams with tropical fruits and khmer spices, will be served where and when you want.
 
The Hotel Restaurant offers an innovative menu conceived by Thorn Vannak, our head chef who trained in the Raffles Grand Hotel of Angkor. For lunch, tempt your palate with a selection of unusual sandwiches, light dishes, large Asian salads or an assortment of traditional khmer snacks, and delicious desserts... served at the pool, on your terrace, in the dining room, the ideal formula for a quick and inexpensive meal between meetings and/or visits to temples or other sites, with no compromise in quality ! In the evening, by candlelight or moonlight, we offer a personalised"Table d’Hôte" menu in a cosy atmosphere. Fruit and vegetables in season, pastry of the day and a mouth-watering array of desserts and ice cream.

The Fou-Nan
: Facing the SAMAR on the opposite side of the street, under a private sala or comfortably installed on the seats of the bar: tapas, mezzés, cocktails, dishes of the day and a panoply of desserts.   The  décor is that of the  Belle-Epoque of Indochina set in a tropical garden. Every second evening, there is an Apsara show and village dances in the garden.

A very wide range of dining options for a small hotel establishment ! Several days will not be enough to discover the entire range of SAMAR’s flavours of Asia. For a total immersion into the amazing world of Khmer cuisine, we also offer the unique experience of cookery classes under the auspices of our chefs.
